Sliced roast veal with roast potatoes and peppers on an iron platter

Tasca · Viseu old town

Beira cooking, with a modern hand.

A few steps from Rua Direita, we cook Lafões veal, salt cod and the old-school puddings, with wines from the Dão.

Lunch and dinner, Tuesday to Sunday

Our place

Granite walls, cooking that never changes

Tasca do Largo lives in an old granite house on a small square off Rua Direita. Inside there are oak tables, lit candles and the smell of the wood oven from the morning on.

Our veal comes from Lafões, our cheese from the Serra da Estrela and our vegetables from growers around Viseu. The menu follows the seasons; the classics stay.

We cook the way we cook at home, just for more people.
