How we work
Every project follows the same path: we learn what you need, send you a clear proposal and only start development once you approve the design. This page sets out the stages, the ways we can work together, our maintenance plans and what every project includes.
The process, step by step
From the first message to what happens after launch, each stage has a clear purpose and an outcome you can see.

Ways of working together
Not every project is run the same way. We agree with you the model that best fits the scope, the timeline and how you prefer to invest, and the cost is always set out in the proposal.

- An invoice for every payment.
- A written proposal with scope, price and deadline, itemised by module.
- Weekly progress updates throughout the project.
Proposals ready for funding applications
Every proposal is itemised module by module, with the scope of each part. That level of detail makes it easier to include in an application for a grant or funding programme, because it shows exactly what is being bought. If that is your plan, mention it in your quote request.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a project take?
It depends on the scope and the modules you choose, so we don't quote generic timescales. The delivery date is set in the proposal before we start. The pace also depends on two steps on your side: approving the design and sending the content.
Who hosts the site, and can I keep my hosting or domain?
It's your choice. We can set up the domain and hosting for you, or use the ones you already have as long as they meet the project's technical needs; the proposal records which. With the website-as-a-service model, hosting is part of the monthly fee.
Can I edit the content myself?
Yes. Websites and online stores come with a content editor where you change text, images and products without waiting for us. If you would rather hand those changes over, a maintenance plan with monthly hours of changes takes care of them.
What if I don't have texts or photos yet?
You don't need everything ready to start. At kick-off we send a checklist of what is needed, and the design can go ahead with placeholder text while you prepare the final copy. If you want help writing the texts or with photography, say so in your quote request and we will add it to the proposal.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes. We issue an invoice for every payment set out in the proposal.
Who owns the site and the code?
You do. Once the final payment is made, the domain, the content and the code are yours. You can stay with us on a maintenance plan or take the project to another team whenever you like.
How does payment work?
Payment terms are agreed in each proposal, which includes a payment plan suited to the size of the project. The first payment is made at kick-off, as agreed.
Do you work with clients outside Portugal, and in English?
Yes. We work remotely, in Portuguese or English, with clients in Portugal and abroad. When it is needed, we also meet in person.
Can I start with a consulting session or an audit?
Yes. If you are not yet sure what to build, the discovery and audit model is a paid workshop that delivers the scope, the architecture and an estimate. We also run technical audits and other consulting services, which can be the first step before any development.
Can your proposal support a funding application?
Yes. Because every proposal is itemised by module, each part of the investment is identified on its own, which makes it easier to present in an application. Tell us which programme you are applying to and we will shape the proposal with that in mind.
Shall we talk about your project?
Tell us what you have in mind and what you want to achieve.
