These terms set out the rules for using this website. The business responsible for it is identified at the top of this page. By browsing the website, or by sending one of its forms, you accept these terms.
Terms of use
The website describes Vilmontech's services, publishes articles and lets you request a quote, ask for a website check or send us a message. You are free to browse it, to find information or to assess our work.
You may not use the website for unlawful purposes, send false, offensive or malicious content through its forms, or try to disrupt it, for example with automated submissions, bulk scraping of its content or attempts to get round its security measures.
The demos in our portfolio show fictional businesses that we created to illustrate what we build. The names, products, prices, addresses and contact details in them are not real and are not an offer to sell anything.
We may change these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top.
Intellectual property
The text, images, illustrations, logo, design and code of this website belong to Vilmontech unless stated otherwise, and are protected by copyright and industrial property law. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts as long as you name the source. Any other copying, adaptation or commercial use needs our prior written permission.
Some of the website's code uses open-source libraries, which remain under their own licences. Third-party brands and logos mentioned on the website, such as payment methods or platforms, belong to their owners; we name them only to describe our work, and doing so does not imply any partnership.
These terms do not cover the ownership of work we do for clients: that is set out in the proposal and contract for each project.
Limitation of liability
The information on the website is general and is provided as is. We aim to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is always complete or free of errors. Articles on legal, tax or technical subjects help explain a topic; they are not a substitute for professional advice on your own situation.
We are not liable for any loss arising from the use of information on the website, or for outages and technical faults beyond our control, except where the law does not allow that liability to be excluded.
The website links to third-party sites. We do not control those sites or their privacy policies, so we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Prices and conditions
The website does not publish prices. Every project is quoted individually from the client's requirements: the price, scope, timescales and payment terms are set out only in the written proposal we send.
Requesting a quote through our quote request form is free and without commitment. Nothing on the website is a contractual offer: a contract exists only once you accept one of our proposals in writing. Where a proposal and these terms differ, the proposal prevails.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If a dispute arises, we will first try to settle it by agreement; if you have any concern, get in touch. If no agreement is reached, the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the rules that protect consumers, including those on the court of their place of residence.
If you are a consumer, you can also turn to a consumer alternative dispute resolution body. The list of these bodies is published on the Portuguese Consumer Portal.
Complaints book
You can file a complaint in the Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico), the Portuguese public platform where any consumer can complain about a supplier of goods or services. If you prefer, write to us first at the e-mail address shown at the top of this page: many issues are resolved faster by contacting us directly.
