So everyone feels at home

Alfama is a neighbourhood where families live. These rules help us look after the house and our neighbours.

Check-in from 3 pm

We meet you at the door until 9 pm. Later than that, we leave the keys in the key safe and send you the code the day before.
Check-out by 11 am

Leave the keys on the living-room table and close the door. You can leave your bags with us until 3 pm.
Quiet from 10 pm to 8 am

The patio faces the neighbours' windows: at night, keep voices low and music indoors.

In the house

Up to 4 guests

Children included. No overnight visitors.
No smoking indoors

You may smoke on the patio; there is an ashtray on the table.
Pets

We don't accept pets, except assistance dogs.
Parties and events

Not allowed. A birthday dinner for four is very welcome.
Stairs

There are 38 steps up from the street and stairs between floors: the house may not suit guests with reduced mobility.

30% deposit

Once we confirm your request, by MB WAY or bank transfer. The rest is due up to 7 days before arrival.
Cancellation

Free up to 30 days before arrival. After that, the deposit is not refunded.
Municipal tourist tax

€4.00 per person aged 13 or over, per night, for up to 7 nights. Paid on arrival, with a receipt.
Cleaning

Final cleaning is included in the price. For stays over 7 nights, we also clean mid-stay.

Alojamento Local registration no. 00000/AL, with Lisbon City Council.

A paper complaints book (Livro de Reclamações) is available in the house, as is the electronic one.

Guests' identification details are reported to the authorities, as the law requires of every rental.
