B2B catalogues and portals for manufacturers
For manufacturers, we build B2B catalogues with technical data sheets, portals where dealers and distributors place their own orders, and configurators that turn product options into complete quote requests. Everything connects to the ERP you already run. Your sales team stops copying orders out of e-mails, and customers find the information they need on their own.
Typical problems
- Data sheets and certificates are scattered across PDFs, so every product question goes through the sales office
- Dealers order by e-mail or phone, and someone keys every line into the ERP again
- Quote requests arrive without dimensions, finishes or quantities
- The company website does not show what the factory actually makes or speak to export markets
Suggested bundle
- B2B catalogue with technical data sheets
- Dealer ordering portal
- ERP integration
- Product configurator
Ordering without retyping
A dealer in electrical supplies signs in to the portal at the end of the day. They repeat last month's order, change two quantities and add a new reference spotted in the catalogue. The portal shows the expected lead time for each line based on stock in the ERP. Once confirmed, the order lands in the ERP like any other, and sales only step in when something is out of the ordinary.
One system for three kinds of buyer
Manufacturers rarely sell to just one kind of customer. A design engineer wants the data sheet and the drawing to download. A dealer wants to reorder the usual references on their own terms. A customer with a special project wants to know whether you can make a part to their dimensions. One catalogue serves all three, showing each the information that matters to them.
From catalogue to order
- Searchable technical catalogue. Every reference with its specifications, drawings, certificates and safety data sheets, filterable by the criteria your customers use to choose.
- Dealer portal. Quick ordering by reference, repeat orders, order status, invoices and delivery notes in one place.
- Configurator. Compatibility rules between options, a drawing or preview where the product calls for one, and a request carrying the full specification.
- ERP connection. Items, stock, prices and orders kept in sync by an integration built around your ERP.
When processes still live in spreadsheets
Production planning, quality control, after-sales service: when these do not fit inside the ERP, a custom management platform connects to it and replaces the spreadsheets passed around by e-mail.
Frequently asked questions
Can the portal connect to our ERP?
In most cases, yes. We work with ERPs such as PHC, Primavera and Sage, through their APIs or a file exchange where no API exists. Before starting, we check exactly what the ERP lets us read and write, and design the integration around that.
Can each dealer see their own terms?
Yes. Once signed in, each dealer sees the price list, discounts and payment terms agreed with you, pulled from the ERP. Visitors without an account see the technical catalogue without prices.
What does a product configurator do?
It walks the customer through the product's options, such as dimensions, materials, finishes or accessories, and rules out combinations the factory cannot make. At the end it produces a request with the full specification, ready for sales to quote or for production to plan.
Can the catalogue run in several languages?
Yes. If you export, the catalogue, data sheets and portal can be in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French or other languages, each with its own addresses and wording tuned for search in that market.
What does a B2B portal cost?
It varies widely with the size of the catalogue, how complex your trade terms are and the ERP integration. We start by mapping requirements and only then prepare a quote. Request a quote
