Websites for photographers and videographers

For photographers and videographers, we build websites with a portfolio that loads quickly on any screen, private galleries where each client views and selects their images, and session booking with the deposit paid online. People looking for a photographer see your style at a glance, and finished work reaches the client without download links that expire.

Typical problems

  • The portfolio is full of high-resolution images and crawls on a phone
  • Photos go out through file-transfer services, and the link expires before the couple has chosen their album images
  • Wedding-season dates are agreed over e-mail, with the risk of booking the same Saturday twice
  • Enquiries arrive without a date, venue or type of shoot, so every detail has to be asked again

Suggested bundle

  1. The enquiry arrives complete. The form asks for the type of shoot, date, venue and number of people, and shows straight away whether that day is free.
  2. The date is secured. The client accepts the proposal and pays the deposit by card, MB WAY, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The day disappears from the public calendar at the same moment.
  3. Preparation happens in one place. A pre-shoot questionnaire, consent to use images in your portfolio, and automatic reminders the week before.
  4. Proofs go up to the gallery. The client gets a private link, chooses favourites and settles the balance, if any is left.
  5. Delivery is ready. Full-resolution photos and the final film sit in one place, with no attachments and no links that lapse.

A portfolio that shows how you see

The portfolio is grouped by kind of work: weddings, portraits, corporate, events, products. Each collection opens in a clean grid, with images shown large and given room to breathe, because the work has to speak for itself. For videographers, a short clip at the top of the page sets the pace and colour before the visitor presses play on the full film.

The words stay short and useful: how you work, what each type of session includes and the questions clients usually ask before booking.

Found by the people looking for you

People searching for a photographer type the kind of shoot and often the area. A well-written page for each service you genuinely offer, with your own images and descriptive alt text, helps Google understand what you do. SEO work covers the rest, including your Google Business Profile and reviews from real clients.

If your current site has become slow or dated, a redesign keeps your address and the pages that already rank. If you only need bookings, the booking system can plug into the website you already have.

Frequently asked questions

Are private galleries secure?

Every gallery has its own link and password and is hidden from search engines. You decide whether it stays open for a set period or indefinitely, and you can hold back full-resolution downloads until the final payment is in.

Can clients pick their album photos in the gallery?

Yes. They mark favourites, leave comments and see how many picks their package still allows. When they are done, you receive the list of file names, ready to use in your editing software.

Do videos live on the website too?

Long films are hosted on a video service such as Vimeo with private playback, and appear on your site without slowing it down. The client watches the film in their gallery and, if the package includes it, downloads the final file.

Won't a portfolio with hundreds of photos be slow?

Not when the images are prepared for the web. We generate modern formats in several sizes, so each screen loads only what it needs, and photos further down the page load as the visitor scrolls.

Can I stop people copying my photos?

No website can block a screenshot. What works is publishing web-sized versions in the portfolio, watermarking proofs if you want to, and delivering full resolution only through each client's private gallery.

How much does a photographer's website cost?

It depends on the size of the portfolio, the private galleries and whether you want booking with a deposit. We quote every project individually, once we understand how you work. Request a quote
