Website redesign and speed-up

A redesign and speed-up gives an existing website a new design and faster code while keeping the content that works. It is for companies whose website is old, slow or awkward on a phone. You get a modern, quick website, migrated carefully to protect your visitors and your Google rankings.

Renew without throwing away

An old website is not just a problem. It holds content your clients know, pages Google has already indexed and, often, years of links from other sites. A good redesign keeps that value and changes what is holding the business back: the look, the slowness, the experience on a phone.

We always start with a review. We measure real-world speed, see how the site behaves on different screens, check accessibility and find the pages that bring in the most visits. With that in hand, we decide together what stays, what improves and what goes.

Genuinely faster

Speed is often the improvement people notice most. We compress and resize images, strip unused code, cut back on third-party scripts and set up caching. The aim is to pass Google's Core Web Vitals and, above all, give visitors a page that opens without a wait.

A planned migration

The switch is the most delicate moment. We prepare a page-by-page redirect map, test everything on a private preview and only then swap over. Your old site stays live until that point, so clients never land on a website under construction.

If the real problem is the code itself, or a supplier who has stopped answering, project rescue may be the better fit. To see how we organise each phase, read how we work.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose my Google rankings?

There is always some risk when addresses change, which is why we treat it as its own piece of work. We list every page, set up a permanent redirect for each old address and watch Search Console after the switch to fix anything that comes up.

Do I need to rewrite all the content?

Not necessarily. We keep the text and images that work and revise whatever is out of date or unclear. If you like, the redesign is also a chance to reorganise pages that confuse visitors today.

When is a brand-new website the better option?

When the site's structure no longer fits the business, or when hardly any content can be kept. In that case we recommend an institutional website built from scratch and explain why in the proposal.

How do I know if my website needs a redesign?

Common signs are pages that take a while to open, tiny text on phones, form messages that never arrive and a look that no longer represents the company. You can ask for a free website check and get an assessment before you decide.

Will I see the speed results before launch?

Yes. We share a speed check of the new website with you before it goes live.

How much does it cost?

Every project is quoted by hand from your requirements, so pricing is on request. Send us your current website address and what you would like to change. Request a quote
