Websites and software for car workshops

For car workshops and tyre shops, we build websites where drivers book a service or a tyre change themselves, get repair updates by SMS and approve extra work from their phone. Reception spends less time answering "is it ready yet?" calls. And a car no longer sits on the lift while someone tries to reach the owner.

Typical problems

  • The phone rings all day with customers asking whether their car is ready
  • Extra work stalls because the customer does not pick up to say yes
  • Seasonal tyre changes fill the diary, and bookings are kept in someone's head
  • One-off customers never come back for the next service because nobody reminds them

Suggested bundle

A service, start to finish

The service light comes on in a driver's dashboard. That evening they open the workshop's website, choose "service with oil change", enter the registration and book Tuesday at 8.30. The confirmation includes the address and a note that the key can go in the drop box for early arrivals.

By mid-morning on Tuesday, a text arrives: "Your service is under way." Soon after, another one: the mechanic has found the brake discs at their limit and sends a photo with the cost of the job. The driver approves it between two meetings and, late in the afternoon, hears that the car is ready, with the invoice attached. A year later, the workshop sends a reminder a week before the next service is due.

Tyres come in two rushes

Tyre shops know when demand peaks: before winter and before summer. Customers with tyres in storage want them swapped without queuing at the counter. The online diary opens short slots just for changes and wheel balancing, kept apart from longer jobs. Customers with stored tyres see their set reference and pick a time, and the team has the right set ready when they arrive.

What the workshop's website shows

  • Services with their usual duration: servicing, brakes, clutch, air conditioning, pre-inspection checks
  • The makes and vehicle types you work on, including electric and hybrid cars where you do
  • Free slots for each kind of job
  • Genuine Google reviews
  • Location, opening hours and a button to call or send a message

Customers who come back

Each vehicle record keeps the job history, the mileage and the next due dates. That drives reminders for the next service, the seasonal tyre swap or the periodic inspection, each at the right moment. In a client portal, a customer with a small fleet sees every vehicle's history in one place. The booking system handles the diary, and solid local SEO puts the workshop in front of people searching for a garage nearby.

Frequently asked questions

Can customers book a tyre change with the right size?

Yes. When booking, they enter the registration and the size printed on the tyre sidewall, or upload a photo of it. You check the tyre is in stock before confirming the slot and order it from your supplier if needed.

How does approving extra work work?

When a mechanic finds something else, such as worn brake pads, they log it with a photo and the cost. The customer gets a link by SMS, sees what was found and approves or declines with one tap. The answer is saved on the vehicle record.

Can it connect to the workshop software we already use?

Often, yes. If your software can export or receive data, bookings and repair status move between the two without anyone typing them twice. If it cannot, a simple vehicle record inside the new system may be all you need.

What if everyone is under a car when the phone rings?

An AI voice receptionist answers, says that it is an AI, takes the registration and the reason for the call and books a slot in the diary. Urgent cases, such as a car that will not start, go straight to a mechanic.

What does a booking system for a workshop cost?

We quote every workshop individually. It depends on how many lifts and mechanics you have, which services you want online and whether we connect to your existing software. Request a quote
