Software for transport, logistics and couriers
For hauliers, logistics operators and courier companies, we build portals where customers follow every shipment, apps that give drivers the day's route and tasks, and proof of delivery with a photo, a signature and a time stamp. The office stops spending its mornings on the phone tracing goods. When a customer complains, the evidence is already on file.
Typical problems
- Customers call to ask where their goods are, and someone has to ring the driver to find out
- Paper delivery notes go missing, reach the office days late or cannot be read
- Routes are agreed over text messages and change mid-day without the office knowing
- When a delivery fails, nobody can say for sure whether the driver was there or when
Suggested bundle
- Shipment tracking portal
- Driver app
- Proof of delivery
One delivery day from three sides
The office. At 7 am, the planner assigns the day's drops to vehicles by area and time window. Each driver gets the list on their phone, already in order. An urgent job that comes in at 10 goes to the nearest driver and appears in their app.
The road. The driver opens the next stop and follows the directions. On arrival, they photograph the goods and take a signature on screen. If nobody is in, they log the attempt with the time and a photo of the doorway, and the recipient is offered a new slot.
The customer. A shop waiting for pallets gets a message with the expected time and, later, the delivery confirmation with the proof attached. Someone waiting for a small parcel follows the delivery status through a link, with nothing to install.
What every shipment keeps on record
- Collection, warehouse scan and delivery, each with date and time
- Photos and the recipient's signature
- Failed attempts and the reason
- Number of parcels, weight and the customer's own references
- Driver notes, such as visible damage to the packaging
Same-day couriers and heavy fleets
A city courier firm mostly needs speed: jobs booked through an app or the portal, assigned to whoever is free, and a heads-up for the recipient. A haulier with lorries and a warehouse needs more: loading bays booked by slot, paperwork per trip and a management platform that pulls it together. Either way, the client portal is the shop window for the service, and the thing that keeps the office phone quiet.
Frequently asked questions
Does the driver app work without signal?
Yes. Warehouses, basements and rural roads often have no coverage. The app keeps deliveries, photos and signatures on the phone and uploads them when the signal returns, so the driver never has to redo anything.
Are drivers tracked all the time?
They need not be. The system can limit location capture to duty hours and to purposes the company sets out, such as giving customers an arrival time. We handle this under the GDPR, and drivers are told what is collected.
Can business customers book shipments themselves?
Yes. In the portal they create a collection request, print labels and see all their shipments in one list, each with its proof of delivery. Regular shipments can be uploaded from a spreadsheet or sent straight from the customer's own system through an API.
Does this replace our invoicing software?
No. Invoices and the transport documents reported to the Portuguese Tax Authority stay in the certified software you already use. We connect the platform to it, so shipment details are never typed twice.
What does a tracking portal with a driver app cost?
We quote each operation on its own requirements. The number of drivers, the kinds of service you run and the systems we connect to set the scope. Request a quote
