Payment integrations
Stripe integration for stores, bookings and SaaS
We integrate Stripe into online stores, booking systems, SaaS platforms and MVPs, with the payment methods your customers use, from cards and Apple Pay to MB WAY and Multibanco. It suits businesses selling in Portugal and abroad, or that need to bill subscriptions, invoices and payment links from one account. Every payment reaches your system already confirmed.
One account, many methods and markets
Stripe brings cards, digital wallets and a range of local methods into a single account. In Portugal that means MB WAY and Multibanco alongside cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you sell abroad, customers find the methods they are used to, such as SEPA Direct Debit or Klarna, without you switching provider.
The strong authentication European banks require happens inside the checkout. The customer approves on their phone or in their banking app and comes back to the site with the basket intact.
More than a pay button
Stripe also bills subscriptions, sends invoices and creates payment links. On a SaaS platform or an MVP for startups, that means you can start charging with plans, trials and upgrades without building billing from scratch. Customers update their card or cancel in their own portal, and your application always knows who has an active subscription.
For work agreed by phone or e-mail, a payment link does the job: the team sends it, the customer pays, and the record sits in the same place as your website sales.
Wired into the rest of the business
Every event that matters reaches your system by webhook: payment confirmed, card declined, refund issued, subscription cancelled. In an online store, the order moves to paid and on to fulfilment. In a booking system, the appointment is confirmed and the customer gets the details.

Frequently asked questions
Does Stripe accept MB WAY and Multibanco?
Yes, directly, with no second provider needed. The customer picks the method at checkout and Stripe handles the confirmation. If you only sell in Portugal, we also compare it with the Portuguese providers.
Does card data pass through my website?
No. The card fields belong to Stripe, even when they sit inside your page. Your server only learns that the payment went through, which can reduce the security obligations on the business side.
How much does Stripe charge?
Stripe's fees apply, and they vary with the payment method and where the card was issued. We explain the ones that apply to you in the proposal. Our own work is on request, quoted for each project. Request a quote
Can I bill monthly subscriptions?
Yes. Stripe charges automatically each period, retries when a card fails and lets the customer know. We tie the subscription status to your application, so access follows payment.
When does the money reach my account?
Stripe pays out your balance to the business's bank account on the schedule set in the account. The first payout can take longer while Stripe verifies the company's details.
