Online sales

Custom online stores

An online store lets you sell products on the internet, with the catalogue, cart, payment and order management in one system. It is for retailers, local producers and product brands that want to sell direct to customers. You get a fast, secure store that takes MB WAY, Multibanco, card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments from day one.

Built for how people pay in Portugal

Portuguese shoppers pay with MB WAY, Multibanco references and cards, very often from a phone. A store without these methods loses sales at the final step. That is why we design the checkout with few fields, payment options visible from the cart and error messages that make sense.

See the providers and methods we usually integrate under payment integrations.

Day-to-day running

The store does not end at checkout. In the back office you see orders by status, update stock, issue refunds and reply to customers. Confirmation, dispatch and delivery e-mails go out automatically, with your logo and your tone of voice.

Common features

  • Discount codes, gift cards and loyalty points
  • Catalogue sync with Google Shopping and Instagram Shop
  • Abandoned-cart e-mails, with the customer's consent
  • Selling to other EU countries with the right VAT rules
  • In-person payments that share stock with the online store

Ready to grow

We build with accessibility and speed in mind from the outset. The European Accessibility Act may apply to your store depending on the size of your company, and speed matters both to shoppers and to Google. If you need to schedule services rather than sell products, have a look at our booking and scheduling systems.

Frequently asked questions

Does the store take MB WAY and Multibanco?

Yes. We connect the store to a payment provider that supports MB WAY, Multibanco references and cards, such as Easypay, Eupago, ifthenpay, SIBS or Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay can be added through providers that support them, such as Stripe. We help you choose the one that best fits your volume and their fees.

Should I go custom or use Shopify or WooCommerce?

It depends on your catalogue, your logistics and how far your process strays from the usual. Shopify and WooCommerce work well for many stores, and we set those up too. A custom store pays off when you have your own pricing, stock or integration rules.

Can invoices be issued automatically?

They can. We connect the store to AT-certified invoicing software such as InvoiceXpress, Moloni or Vendus, so every paid order produces its invoice with no manual work.

What legal requirements does an online store have in Portugal?

Typically, and among others, a link to the electronic complaints book, information on alternative dispute resolution, clear terms and conditions, and a GDPR-compliant privacy policy. We build these into the store, but the final legal wording should be checked by a lawyer.

Can the store connect to couriers?

Yes. We can calculate shipping in real time, print labels and send tracking codes to customers, with carriers such as CTT, DPD or DHL.

How much does it cost?

Every project is quoted by hand from your requirements, so pricing is on request. Tell us how many products you have and how you handle deliveries today. Request a quote
