MVP development for startups
An MVP is the first working version of a digital product, with just enough for real customers to use it and pay for it. It is for founders who want to validate a SaaS or marketplace idea before investing in a full product. You get a live product, real usage data and a technical foundation that can grow without a rewrite.
Validate before you build it all
The most expensive way to test an idea is to build the full product and only then find out customers wanted something else. An MVP puts your value proposition in front of real customers with the least effort possible. What you learn in the first weeks of real use is worth more than any plan made before launch.
Simple, but properly built
Minimum doesn't mean makeshift. User accounts, payments and data protection have to work from the very first customer, with personal data handled in line with the GDPR. We pick mature technology and a structure another team can read. So when the time comes to scale or hire, nobody has to start from scratch.
Common features
- Subscription plans with a free trial
- Team invitations and seats within each customer account
- A marketplace with seller profiles and split payments
- E-mail notifications for the key moments in the product
- Data export and an API for more advanced customers
From MVP to product
After launch, we go through the usage data with you and decide what to build next, what to change and what to drop. If the idea still needs shaping, a requirements and specifications phase is a good first step. We set out the phases in how we work.

Frequently asked questions
What goes into an MVP?
The minimum that lets a real customer solve the main problem and, ideally, pay for it. Everything else goes on a list for later. We help you make that cut, which is usually the hardest part.
Will the MVP need rewriting if the product takes off?
It shouldn't. We keep the features simple, not the foundations. The data model, security and the way new features are added are designed to last. What changes as you grow is what gets built on top.
Should it be an app, a web app or a website?
For most MVPs, an installable web app reaches every device from a single build. A mobile app makes sense when the product relies on phone features from day one.
Which payment methods can I offer?
Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, MB WAY, SEPA Direct Debit and monthly or annual subscriptions, among others. If you sell software in several countries, a service that handles each country's VAT makes life much simpler. See the options under payment integrations.
We have no technical team. Who makes the technical calls?
We explain every decision in plain language and document everything. If you need someone to steer the product after launch, we also offer a fractional CTO service.
Do we own the code and the product?
Yes. Once the final payment is made, you own the domain, the content and the code.
How much does it cost?
Every project is quoted by hand from your requirements, so pricing is on request. Describe the idea, who it is for and what must work in the first version. Request a quote
Shall we talk about your project?
Tell us what you have in mind and what you want to achieve.
