Artificial intelligence
AI search visibility for your website
AI search visibility gets your website ready to be read and cited by Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot. It is for any business that depends on being found, now that many searches end in an answer written by an AI. The result is a website these tools can read, understand and name as a source.
Many searches now end in an answer
Ask Google, ChatGPT or Perplexity how to solve a problem and you often get a written answer citing two or three sources, rather than a list of links. The businesses cited get the visit and the trust; the rest aren't even considered. Being cited comes down to two things: the tool being able to read your site, and finding a clear answer there.
Each tool reads the web differently
Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode start from the normal Google index, so a well-indexed site is already halfway there. ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity use their own crawlers, which many sites block without realising, through an old robots.txt rule or overzealous bot protection. Copilot draws on Bing. We check each of these doors and open the ones that make sense for you.
Content that is easy to cite
AI tools cite sentences that answer the question directly, with concrete facts and a clear origin. We rewrite your key pages to open with the answer, in short paragraphs, with genuine FAQs and structured data that matches the text. Visible update dates, authorship and contact details help a tool trust the source.
Beyond search
If you want assistants not only to cite your business but also to make bookings or place orders, that calls for AI-agent connectivity. If you add an AI chat assistant to your own site, it always introduces itself as an AI, as the AI Act has required since 2 August 2026. Frequently asked questions
Is this different from SEO?
They share the same foundations, which are a fast, indexed site with clear content. The difference is the goal. SEO aims for positions in the list of results; here the aim is to be the source the AI reads and cites in its answer. We often do both together with SEO and Google visibility.
How do ChatGPT and Perplexity find my site?
Each tool has its own crawler, such as OAI-SearchBot for ChatGPT, Claude-SearchBot for Claude and PerplexityBot for Perplexity. If robots.txt or a firewall blocks them, your site is left out of those tools' answers. Copilot relies on the Bing index, so being properly indexed there matters.
Isn't an llms.txt file enough?
No. Google ignores llms.txt, and AI Overviews and AI Mode draw on the normal Google index. Other tools can read it, so we create one, but what really counts is the content of your pages.
Can I stop my content being used to train AI models?
Largely, yes. The crawlers that feed search are separate from those that gather training data, such as GPTBot or ClaudeBot, and robots.txt lets you allow some and block others. We explain the options and you make the call.
Do you guarantee my business will appear in AI answers?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. No AI tool publishes the rules it uses to pick sources, and answers change from one question to the next. What we do is clear the obstacles and give these tools clear content that is easy to cite.
