AI-agent connectivity with MCP servers
AI-agent connectivity gives your service an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and the APIs behind it, so assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude can use it on a user's behalf, for example to check availability, make a booking or track an order. It is for software products, booking businesses and online stores that want to be where customers already ask their questions. The assistant makes the request; your business rules make the decision.
Requests are starting to arrive through assistants
More and more people ask an AI assistant to find somewhere to stay, compare products or get something done in a tool they use at work. If your service offers those assistants no way in, the request goes elsewhere, or ends on a page the assistant can't fill in. An MCP server gives them a clear entrance, with only the actions you decide to open.
Your rules, not the assistant's
The assistant interprets the request; your system decides. Availability, cancellation terms and stock always come from your database, never from the model's memory. Each action has its own permissions: browsing the catalogue can be public, while changing a booking requires the customer to sign in and confirm. Everything is logged, so your support team can see what an agent did and when.
Typical work
- Checking availability and creating bookings from an assistant
- Looking up order and shipment status
- Actions on a customer's account in a SaaS product, with OAuth sign-in
- A trade catalogue with per-customer terms and stock
Where it fits
For software products, an MCP server lets customers use your platform from the assistant they already work in. On a booking system or an online store, it opens availability and orders to a new channel. When the underlying problem is getting systems to talk to each other, integrations and APIs are the place to start. The stages of the work are set out in how we work.
What you get
- An MCP server exposing the actions you choose, such as search, look up, book or order
- New or adapted APIs on top of your current system, where none exist yet
- OAuth sign-in for actions taken on behalf of customers with an account
- Permissions, confirmations and limits per action, so nothing happens without authorisation
- A log of every request an agent makes, for auditing and customer support
- Technical documentation and testing with the most widely used assistants
Best for
- Software products (SaaS) whose customers already work with AI assistants
- Booking businesses, such as accommodation, experiences, rentals and appointments
- Online stores and distributors with a catalogue, stock and orders
- Companies that want their platform ready for requests made by agents
Typical features and modules

Frequently asked questions
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for how an AI assistant discovers and uses outside tools. Instead of a separate integration for every assistant, one MCP server works with many. It is supported by assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude, and by a range of developer tools.
Could an agent book or buy something without the customer knowing?
Not if the server is designed properly. Actions involving payments or personal data ask the user for explicit confirmation, and customer accounts only connect through OAuth, with the customer's own consent. We also set limits per action and per time period.
Do people know they're dealing with an AI?
Yes. Since 2 August 2026, the EU AI Act has required the provider of the assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to tell people they are interacting with an AI. In your system, agent requests are flagged as such, and anything out of the ordinary is handed over to your team.
Do we need an API already?
It helps, but it isn't essential. If your system has an API, the MCP server builds on it. If not, we build the parts that are needed on top of the database or software you already use.
How much does it cost?
Every project is quoted by hand from your requirements, so pricing is on request. Tell us which system you use and which actions you'd like AI assistants to be able to take. Request a quote
