Artificial intelligence
Smart search and recommendations with AI
Smart search uses AI to understand what customers type in everyday language, such as "waterproof hiking trainers" or "two-bed flat with a balcony near the metro", and show the right results even without the exact words. It is for online stores, product catalogues and estate agents with many listings. Customers find things faster, see related suggestions, and your team gets drafted product descriptions ready to review.
If customers can't find it, they can't buy it
A shopper who searches and gets "0 results" rarely tries again. Often the product is there, but its page uses a different word, or the shopper made a typo, or typed a phrase instead of a product name. Smart search compares the meaning of what was typed with the meaning of each product. "Gift for someone who loves cooking" brings up products instead of an empty page.
Recommendations that make sense
Beyond search, AI suggests what tends to go together: socks with the shoes, a charger with the device, a similar property on the next street. Suggestions can be based only on the item being viewed, with no personal data, or on purchase history where the customer has given consent.
Fuller product pages, reviewed by people
Writing descriptions for hundreds of products is one of the most put-off jobs in any online store. AI drafts one from the attributes, the category and similar products, and your team reviews it before it goes live. The copy stays in your brand's voice, and no claim is published without a person signing it off. Fuller product pages also support your visibility on Google.
In a new store or the one you have
Smart search can be built into a new online store or added to an existing Shopify, WooCommerce or custom-built one. If customers also ask about delivery, sizing or returns, an AI chat assistant answers them from the same information. The stages of the work are set out in how we work.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from my store's normal search?
Normal search looks for the exact words. Smart search understands meaning, so someone typing "coat for the rain" finds your waterproofs even if "rain" never appears on the product page. It also copes with typos and full sentences.
Does it work with Shopify or WooCommerce?
Yes, in most cases. We connect to your catalogue through the platform's API and replace or extend the existing search. In custom-built stores, we build the search straight into the code.
Do customers know the search uses AI?
We say so discreetly next to the search box and the suggestions. If you add a chat assistant to the store, it states clearly that it is an AI, as the EU AI Act has required since 2 August 2026.
Do AI-written descriptions go straight onto the site?
No. The AI prepares a draft from the product's attributes, and someone on your team reviews, edits and approves it before it's published. That keeps the text in your brand's voice and free of claims the product can't back up.
Does it use customers' personal data?
Recommendations can be based solely on the product being viewed, with no personal data at all. If you want suggestions based on purchase history, we only switch them on with the customer's consent and explain it in your privacy policy.
How much does it cost?
Every project is quoted by hand from your requirements, so pricing is on request. The AI usage cost depends on the size of your catalogue and the number of searches, and we explain it in the proposal. Request a quote
