Consulting
E-commerce and digital sales consulting
E-commerce consulting helps you make the decisions that shape an online store, from the platform to payment methods and checkout. It is for businesses about to start selling online and for existing stores that sell less than they should. You receive concrete recommendations, each one justified and ranked by impact.
Decisions that are expensive to undo
The platform, the payment provider and the shape of the catalogue are hard choices to reverse. Switching platforms after two years means migrating products, customers, orders and the URLs Google already knows. A conversation before you start saves you that journey. We explain the options with the pros and cons of each.
Where sales slip away
Most abandonment happens at the end: in the basket and at checkout. A long form, being forced to create an account, shipping costs that only appear on the last step or a missing payment method is enough to lose the sale. We test the whole journey on mobile, where many purchases begin, and measure what analytics shows, always with visitors' consent.
What we review in an existing store
- Speed and the mobile experience
- Product pages: photos, descriptions, availability and delivery times
- Checkout, payment methods and payment integrations
- Shipping, returns and trust signals
- Presence on Google and sales channels such as Google Shopping
- Legal requirements and accessibility
After the recommendations
Each recommendation comes with its expected impact and relative effort, so you can start with what delivers the most for the least work. You can make the changes with your own team, your supplier or with us. If the store needs to reach more people, the next step is SEO and Google visibility.

Frequently asked questions
Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom store?
It depends on your catalogue, your sales rules and who will run the store. An off-the-shelf platform suits most cases and gets you going quickly. A custom store pays off when your pricing, stock or production rules don't fit a platform.
Which payment methods should I offer?
In Portugal, MB WAY and Multibanco references weigh heavily on the decision to buy, alongside cards. For selling abroad, other methods matter, such as PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We recommend the right mix for your customers and a payment provider that offers it.
My store gets visits but doesn't sell. Why?
The usual culprits are shipping costs revealed late, a long checkout, too few payment methods, a slow mobile experience and a lack of trust. We go through the store as a customer would and cross-check with your analytics to find where people drop out.
What are an online store's legal obligations?
Among others, pre-contract information, the right of withdrawal, a link to Portugal's electronic complaints book and, for many stores, accessibility. We check the technical side of these; the wording of your terms and conditions should be reviewed by a lawyer.
Do you also build the store?
We can build or improve the store, but the consulting stands on its own. Recommendations are written so that your team or your current supplier can put them into practice.
How much does it cost?
Every project is quoted by hand from your requirements, so pricing is on request. Tell us what you sell, whether you already have an online store and what concerns you. Request a quote
Shall we talk about your project?
